The Department of Paediatrics, GKNM Children's Specialty Hospital, successfully hosted the Paediatric Practice Update 2026 on June 14, 2026, at GKNM Hospital, Coimbatore. The event was inaugurated by Dr. G. Manoharan, Chief Medical Officer, GKNM Hospital, in the presence of Dr. M. Ramaswamy and Dr. C. Karthick Annamalai.

The program served as an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, clinical updates, and professional development for paediatricians and trainees. Around 100 delegates from across the region participated in the event, making it a vibrant forum for academic learning and professional networking.

The event featured expert-led sessions on key areas of paediatric care, including emergency medicine, developmental paediatrics, endocrinology, neurology, pulmonology, nephrology, neonatology, cardiology, infectious diseases, immunology, and paediatric surgery.
