Philanthropic Initiatives of the Hospital:

Ever since inception, G Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital, under the aegis of The Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief has been engaged in Philanthropic activities. The hospital was established in 1952 providing free treatment to women and children. Over the years the scope of these activities has increased.

Veerapandi Rural Gontor provides free OPD Consultation, modicinoc and diagnostic corvicoG to the population in the near-hy vicinity

The community Oncology team provides free screening to women for Cervical, Breast and Oral Cancer. Under this program, over 10,000 women in and around Coimbatore have been screened.

Raksha is a 15-bed hospice which provides free palliative care to terminally ill cancer patients.

Ever since the CSR law was incorporated in India, the hospital through the Trust has been en-gaged in meaningful CSR projects, providing quality care to the under privileged sections of the society

During the financial year 2023-2024 through these initiatives the hospital has supported the treatment of close to 340 children.

Upakara Overview

  • "GKNMH UPAKARA" fund is created to accept donations / contributions under CSR Scheme from Individuals / Public / Companies.
  • To provide the core oncological services including Radiation oncology, Medical services, Haemato oncology, and Surgical oncology to the poor cancer patients.
  • To offer subsidized payment for Bone Marrow Transplant patients.
  • To subsidize payment to poor and needy cancer patients.
  • To subsidize care of poor patients, department wise, as designated by the donor.
  • The payment shall be made by Cheque / DD in favour of "The Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education and Medical Relief" payable at Coimbatore.
  • These donations are eligible for the exemptions u/ sec. 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Our Mission

Raise funds and save the lives of children suffering from Congenital Heart Disease

Healing Tiny Hearts is committed to making a difference in children with congenital heart disease.

Congenital heart disease is the leading cause of birth defect related deaths. Surgeries for CHD cost between Rs. 1 lakh and 4 lakh per child; making it extremely expensive or families to afford treatment for their children. The Paediatric Cardiac Surgery and intervention programme - Healing Tiny Hearts, aims to bring back health, hope, and happiness to children with CHD.
