GKNM organized a National-Level Stroke Workshop 2026 in association with ISVIR
GKNM Hospital's Department of Interventional Radiology, in association with ISVIR, successfully organized a two-day National Level Stroke Workshop on 17–18 July 2026 at GKNM Coimbatore.
The workshop was held in the presence of Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive Officer, GKNM Hospital, and was led by Dr. Rasmiranjan Padhi, Chief Consultant Neuro Interventional Radiologist.
Bringing together 28 neurointerventional specialists from across India, the program offered comprehensive training in advanced stroke intervention techniques. Participants benefited from expert-led lectures, simulation-based hands-on sessions, and live case demonstrations, enabling them to enhance their clinical skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in stroke management.
The workshop fostered meaningful knowledge exchange among leading specialists while promoting collaborative learning and clinical excellence. By equipping healthcare professionals with advanced neurointerventional expertise, the program reinforced GKNM Hospital's ongoing commitment to continuous medical education, innovation in stroke care, and improved patient outcomes.
