GKNM Hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and advanced infrastructure, has launched a newly expanded 24-hour emergency department. The Honourable Minister of Health and Family Welfare (Tamil Nadu), Thiru. Ma. Subramanian, inaugurated the facility on 04.10.2024. Thiru. Kranthi Kumar Pati I.A.S., District Collector, Coimbatore, and Thiru. M. Sivaguru Prabakaran, I.A.S., Commissioner, Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, attended the event as special guests.

Vice President, Sri.R.Gopinath of KNC Trust, GKNM Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, and GKNM Hospital doctors, staff graced the occasion.

Located in the heart of the city, the hospital offers extensive ambulance coverage and easy access. It features advanced stroke care and 24/7 emergency cardiac care with specialized medical experts. The Emergency Care complex has 19 beds for adults and paediatrics and 17 beds high dependency unit inside the emergency complex for patients requiring intensive care. The facility has dedicated areas for paediatric, cardiac, stroke, recovery, isolation, urgent dialysis, and maternity care.
