Biomedical Workshop

GKNM hosted the Biomedical Workshop exclusively for 3rd and 4th-year Biomedical students on 13th July at the GKD Auditorium. 

Approximately, 100 Biomedical Engineering students from various institutes in Coimbatore participated in this event. Dr. V. Santhosh, the Medical Director (Operations) of GKNM Hospital, inaugurated the workshop. It was an exclusive event featuring a special orientation on the latest trends and technology in the radiological field by Mr. Dinesh Kumar, General Manager Sales, Siemens Healthineers, and the role of Biomedical Engineers in healthcare by Mr. Rajaram, Sales Manager – South, Wipro GE Healthcare Pvt Ltd. The orientation was followed by the workshop and hands-on training on defibrillators, patient monitors, and much more.
