To mark the Indian Organ Donation Day, the Organ Donation & Transplant Committee of G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNMH) organised an awareness activity under the title ‘Donate Organs SAVE EIGHT LIVES’ at Lakshmi Mills Urban Centre on 3rd August’24.

To mark the Indian Organ Donation Day, the Organ Donation & Transplant Committee of G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNMH) organised an awareness activity under the title ‘Donate Organs SAVE EIGHT LIVES’ at Lakshmi Mills Urban Centre on 3rd August’24.The event was graced by the presence of Mr.Rohit Nathan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Coimbatore and Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy, Chief Executive Officier, GKNMH.

Consultants of the Organ Donation and Transplant Committee, Students from GKNMH Institute of Allied Health Science were also present.Thiru. Rohit Nathan inaugurated the Pledge Campaign and Dr.RagupathyVeIuswamy Presided over the event.

The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness among the general public about organ donation and to educate them about the myths and misconceptions related to organ donation and transplantation. The public actively participated in the signature awareness campaign and team from GKNM hospital explained about the organ donation. The campaign was there for whole day at the Lakshmi mills urban center.
