The Cause

The Objective of organizing the awareness run is to bring in hope and happiness to the children with CHD and Childhood Cancers.
To provide financial assistance to the children for their medical treatment.
The needy families find very difficult to meet the medical expenses for the surgery for CHD and cancer treatment such as Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy & medicines etc..

Prevalence of Childhood
Cancers in India

In India an estimate of 50,000 children get Diagnosed of Cancer every year.
Proportion of Childhood Cancers relative to cancers in all age groups varies between 0.7% and 4.4% in the Indian Council of Medical Research – National Cancer Registry 2012 – 2016
In Childhood Cancers more than 80% of Children achieve complete cure.

Why September

World Heart Day is a global event that occurs on the 29^th September.
The day is Celebrated by organizing various activities and awareness events Globally to raise awareness about the Heart Diseases and its preventive measures.

Every year September is Childhood Cancer awareness Month.
Supporting Children with Cancer and their Families Worldwide. Improving Access to Treatment and Care
Encourages everyone to Go Gold during September in honor and in memory of Children with Cancer.

Date: Sunday, 28^th September, 2025
Venue: Mani Hr.Sec.School Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore
Time: 5.30 A.M.
Distance: 1, 3, 5 & 10 KM
Expected Runners: 2000 to 2500 Runners

Age Criteria

1 & 3 KM : All Age Groups (Celebrity Run, Children, Families & Wheelchair)

5 KM: 12 to 18 yrs (Boys & Girls) /
Above 18yrs (Men & Women)

10 KM:Above 18 to 39 yrs(Men & Women) /
Above 40 yrs (Men & Women)
(Timing Chip for 10Km Runners)

Registration Fees 500 /- (onwards)
