  • Paediatrics outpatient department, wards and dedicated Paediatric casualty. All routine and emergency cases are attended by Paediatricians all through the year. An immunization and well baby clinic is available at the outpatient department.
  • A 30 bed neonatal intensive care unit which is a forerunner in the care of sick premature babies and operated neonates in the region. The unit is equipped to handle neonates of high risk pregnancies delivered at GKNMH and referred from other hospitals. Screening for ROP in the admitted neonates is done collaboratively by a team of Paediatric Ophthalmologists. Babies admitted are followed up at the Neonatology follow up clinic.
  • A 10 bed Paediatric intensive care unit unit equipped with ventilators, multichannel monitors, central intravascular catheterisation facilities . The unit includes step down, isolation and postoperative beds. Care is provided by an Intensivist and trained nursing Staff
  • Well equipped operation theatres and experienced surgical and anaesthesia  team .

  • Paediatric and Neonatal Surgery .Paediatric surgical outcomes especially in cases of congenital diaphragmatic hernia, tracheo oesophageal fistula with oesophageal atresia, intestinal surgeries are consistently above national standards.
  • Paediatric Endocrinology and Centre for children with Diabetes where facilities are available for these children including counselling, dietary advice, investigations, treatment and support groups. Neonatal Thyroid Screening is done for all neonates delivered in the Hospital.
  • Pediatric Cardiology service which offers diagnostic services and cardiac cath interventions for paediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease.
